Dr. Robert Pearl is the former CEO of Permanente Medical Group (1999-2017) and former president of The Mid-Atlantic Permanente Medical Group (2009-2017). As CEO, he directed 10,000 physicians and 38,000 staff and was responsible for the medical care of 5 million members insured by Kaiser Permanente. Dr. Pearl has since shifted his focus, sharing his knowledge and experience as a Forbes Healthcare Contributor and clinical professor at Stanford University School of Medicine. Dr. Pearl has been named one of Modern Healthcare’s 50 most influential physician leaders.
